Accurate Fuel Management and Reporting

Oregon State GASOLINE Requirements

If you wish to dispense gasoline through a Cardlock facility in the state of Oregon, all of the following must apply:

• All gasoline accessed through an Oregon Cardlock must be used exclusively for business purposes. Personal use is prohibited, even if the vehicle is owned by your business.
• You must purchase a minimum of 900 gallons of gasoline and/or diesel per year.  If your StarOilco/Leathers Fuels fuel purchases do not equal 900 gallons, you will be required to show proof (receipts and/or invoices) of fuel purchased from another source within the same year.
• You must provide proof of business such as a Federal Identification Number, a current business license or a copy of your schedule “C” or “F” from your most recent income tax return.
• The owner of your organization (or an officer) must sign a contract certifying that she/he understands and meets the requirements of the law.
• The Oregon State Fire Marshal audits our records regularly as well as visiting the Cardlock sites. Should a transaction occur that is not within the limits of the law our customer could be penalized up to $2,500 and one year in jail.
